Orienteering SA Belair

Belair National Park Upper Sturt Rd, Belair, SA

O’Halloran Hill – Foot and MTBO Event

City to Bush Event # 3 - Map Area - O'Halloran Hill Recreation Park and some adjacent suburbs Start - Seaview Downs Primary School, park in the west car park off Ross St. Three cross country foot orienteering courses (2, 3.8 and 5.2 km) - suitable for beginners and more experienced orienteers. Tjuringa Orienteers would like to invite you to join our Camp at Kuitpo on Saturday 8/7, before the OSA event the next day. We will be camping under gum trees off Brookman Road, on private property that is home to the magnificent 'Kuitpo Wedding Tree'. There will be a short night event (Easy and Hard courses) at 6pm in this area of SW Kuitpo, which has not been used in recent memory. Rock Oyster OY #8

This map was made by Adrian Uppill in 2010 for the Australian Relay Championships and contains beautiful, fast running, spur gully, mallee terrain with wombats and fossilised oysters in many areas. It is a truly delightful area for orienteering.
