Tourism, Travel, Hospitality and Events – Draft 2

Open for Consultation 
SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry Reference Committee (IRC), is updating the tourism, travel, hospitality and events components of the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package.

The Draft 2 validation period is now open. Feedback reviewed during the Draft 2 validation period will inform the development of the final Training Package Products for submission. Validation on Draft 2 allows stakeholders to review changes made from Draft 1 to inform the Draft 2 Training Package Products and provides an opportunity for final input prior to submission.

National validation of Draft 2 will be open from Monday, 15 November 2021 to 5pm AEDT Friday, 26 November 2021. Stakeholders may leave feedback on the Draft 2 Training Package Products which can be accessed via the SkillsIQ Online Feedback Forum here. 

A series of webinars will be held to provide further information and details on how to provide feedback. Please visit the SkillsIQ Online Feedback Forum or the Tourism, Travel, Hospitality or Events project pages to register for a webinar.

Following the close of consultation, feedback will be collated and evaluated by the IRC. This feedback will inform the development of the final Training Package Products for submission.
