Posted on May 6, 2022

Outdoors Victoria, is pleased to once again host the Outdoors Victoria (OV) Conference at the end of this month.

When: Thursday 26th & 27th May

Where: Box Hill Institute – Lilydale Lakeside Campus, 1 Jarlo Dr, Lilydale

Please share the Conference Program with your colleagues and don’t miss out on Purchasing Your Tickets as sales will close soon.

For over ten years this major annual event has provided sector-wide learning and networking opportunities to more than 250+ professionals and organisations. This year our schedule focusses on 4 different streams of content:

  • Education and Outdoor Learning,
  • Health & Wellbeing,
  • Businesses and Not-for-profits &
  • Nature & Climate.

Both days are full of lectures and workshops that provide the best professional learning opportunities for outdoor educators, adventure camp and activity providers, licensed tour operators and bush adventure therapists with plenty of opportunities to network and learn from one another across the entire event and in the luxurious Exhibitors space.

Day one will be officially opened by Georgina McCann, Executive Director, Community Sport and Recreation at SRR-DJPR, followed by the opening key speech by Libbi Gorr, who will inspire us for for whole the event! Deputy Premier Merlino will be opening day two, followed by the Brian Nettleton Lecture, which will be delivered by esteemed retiring Outdoor Educator, Brian Wattchow.

To see what’s on offer over the two days, check out the timetable attached. Or go directly to our website for more information.

The OV team are looking forward to gathering with you all again after the isolation of the past few years. Whether you are an educator, student, government representative, an outdoor activity or camp provider, a bush adventure therapist or a lover and carer of nature, there is something for everyone. Don’t miss out!

See you there!

The whole OV team
