Kangaroo Island Parks Closures

Due to seasonal closure three Kangaroo Island parks will be closed until 31st December 2017.

  • Part of Cape Torrens Wilderness Protection Area
  • Part of Cape Gantheaume Wilderness Protection Area
  • Part of Vivonne Bay Conservation Park

The purpose of the annual closure is to protect the breeding habitat of the White Bellied Sea-Eagle, a threatened species of coastal raptor.
