Tourism Industry Recovery Agenda

Posted on January 13, 2022
Today, TiCSA has released our Tourism Industry Recovery Agenda. The Agenda was created after extensive consultation with our members, the broader industry, and stakeholders, to identify how we can strategically restart and regrow tourism in SA.

We have identified five policy priorities for industry recovery:

We are asking the State Government for an additional $81m per year to be strategically invested across these priorities for 3 years through funding, support programs, and Government-wide collaboration.

With the 2022 election fast approaching, now is the time for us to push for ongoing support to recover and restart the industry and become successful again.

We want to hear your voices
To complement our Agenda release, we are beginning a social media campaign: #TourisminSAMatters. The campaign aims to show why tourism across South Australia is important, why we need support for recovery and rebuilding, and how you have been impacted by the pandemic. We want to hear from business operators, regions, and staff across the state. If you’re willing to share your thoughts, please respond to the short survey at the button below, and our Communications Coordinator Georgia Nicholls will be in touch.

Kind regards,
Eoin Loftus
