WalktoberSA

Posted on September 7, 2018

This October we’re celebrating walking and promoting it’s benefits for everyone with WalktoberSA.

October is ideal for walking – the temperatures are mild and the evenings are getting longer.

  1. Sunday 14 October, Trails Less Travelled: Hike Mt Lofty from a different direction. Join one of our 15 guided walks up Mt Lofty, with a Hiking Expo at Mt Lofty Summit.
  2. Explore trails: we’ll be listing some of the best places to walk in SA
  3. Share your “view from my walk” photo via social media using the hashtag #walktoberSA for a chance to win a weekly prize. Take a photo walking near home, to work, or on a hike in one of our great parks and reserves.
  4. Find a walking event: there are plenty of walking events that are easy to join, including ones hosted by our walking club members, health bodies, local councils and walk-for-a-cause events.

You’re just two feet from some of the best places in South Australia.
